Baskin-Robbins Malaysia is bringing a taste of Japan to local ice cream lovers with its new Japan Summer Series, featuring three flavours inspired by Japanese favourites.
Available nationwide from October 1, 2026, the collection introduces Matcha, Musk Melon and Popping Shower, offering a mix of earthy, fruity and playful flavours.

The Matcha flavour is made with premium green tea powder sourced from Kitagawa Hanbei Shoten, a historic tea merchant in Uji, Kyoto, with more than 150 years of tradition.
For those who prefer fruity flavours, Musk Melon combines fragrant melon with a creamy milk finish. Meanwhile, Popping Shower brings together cool mint and sweet white chocolate ice cream with popping candy for an extra burst of texture in every bite. The flavour is described by Baskin-Robbins as Japan's No. 1 best-selling flavour.
The series also features Lemon Sherbet, a light and citrusy option for those looking for something refreshing.
New Desserts to Try
Beyond individual scoops, customers can explore several desserts created around the Japan Summer Series.
The Japan Trio Waffle pairs a waffle with three ice cream flavours: Matcha, Musk Melon and Popping Shower. Those who prefer their ice cream in a cone can opt for the Japan Triple Fun Scoop, which brings all three flavours together in one serving.
For a drinkable treat, the Japan Summer Series Blasts are available in Matcha, Musk Melon and Lemon Sherbet flavours.
According to Cheah Jia Ming, Director of Baskin-Robbins Malaysia and Singapore, the series reflects the brand's focus on flavour discovery and introducing new taste experiences to customers.
The three new ice cream flavours will join Baskin-Robbins Malaysia's permanent lineup from October 1, 2026. However, the Japan Trio Waffle, Japan Triple Fun Scoop and Japan Summer Series Blasts are available for a limited time only, until November 11, 2026.
Customers who purchase any of these limited-time treats can also receive a free Japan Summer Series puffy sticker, limited to one per receipt while stocks last. Terms and conditions apply.
The Japan Summer Series is available at Baskin-Robbins outlets nationwide. Customers can visit the brand's official Instagram page, @baskinrobbinsmalaysia, or its Facebook page, Baskin-Robbins Malaysia, for more information.
