The RM1.7 Million Original “Iron Man” Suit Worn By Robert Downey Jr Has Been Stolen!

There’s a thief in Los Angeles who is making superheroes their victim. [arve url='https://giphy.com/embed/DkwrXtlmgJjJS' /] Los Angeles police have said that the original gold and red suit worn by Robert Downey Jr in the first Iron Man movie is missing. The suit, valued at US$431,000 (RM1.7 million), was being kept at a prop storage warehouse until it vanished, assumably between February and April 25, but was only reported stolen on 8 May 2018. According to the Los Angeles Times: “The famous red-and-gold suit, which first flashed across movie screens in the 2008 Iron Man film that kick-started Marvel's movie empire, was reported missing Tuesday, [Officer Christopher No, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department] said. Employees at the warehouse ‘just happened to check’ Tuesday and noticed the costume was gone.” [arve url='https://giphy.com/embed/auvR6w7ehBnMs' /] Besides this, there isn’t much being said about the theft. A spokesperson for the LAPD was really tight-lipped and wouldn’t name the owner of the said warehouse where the suit was kept or the person who reported the crime.
