Uber Cup: M'sia Opts Against Replacing Pearly Tan

Malaysia will not bring in a replacement for injured doubles star Pearly Tan ahead of the Uber Cup in Denmark.

This, after Pearly confirmed her withdrawal from the squad due to a back injury.  

National doubles coaching director Rexy Mainaky says instead, her doubles partner M. Thinaah will form a scratch partnership with another player in the squad.

The pair will use the team’s training camp in Denmark to quickly build chemistry before the tournament begins next week.
