This season's Champions League semi-final ties have been locked in!

One of the slots went to Bayern Munich who came back from 3-2 down to win 4-3 against Real Madrid in their quarter final second leg meeting this morning.

Bayern scored 2 goals towards the end of the match through Luis Diaz and Micheal Olise to wrap up a 6 – 4 victory on aggregate to advance. 

They will next face the difficult task of fighting holders PSG for a spot in the final. 

Meanwhile, Arsenal also secured their spot in the semis this morning! 

The Gunners fought out a goalless draw with Sporting Lisbon this morning but were propelled by their 1-nil lead from the first leg. 

Mikel Arteta’s side are now set to take on Atletico Madrid.

France striker Hugo Ekitike is set to be sidelined for the rest of the season, and will be absent for this summer’s World Cup.  

This, after suffering a suspected Achilles injury during Liverpool's Champions League defeat by PSG earlier this week.
