We?re all guilty of 'doin' it for the ?Gram' sometimes. It?s difficult not to get pulled into the culture of perfect selfies and scoring likes when social media provides an easy and accessible way for people to connect online. Unfortunately, sometimes ?doin' it for the ?Gram? can make us do some things against our better judgement.
A photograph of Youth and Sports Minister, Syed Saddiq was recently shared online via his comms team?s Twitter account, @teamsaddiq. In the photo, Syed Saddiq is seen leaning against his car while pumping petrol at a Petronas petrol station.

The photo quickly garnered comments from Twitter users who pointed out that using mobile phones while pumping petrol is not only dangerous, it is also prohibited. Some pointed out that the sign prohibiting mobile phone use is even visible in the photograph.
Petronas? official Twitter account also retweeted the tweet thanking Syed Saddiq for stopping by at one of their stations. They also reminded him to put his safety first and avoid using mobile phones near the fuel pumps.
Previously, it was reported that a woman suffered 60% burns to her body after using her phone while pumping petrol at a petrol station in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
So, remember folks, no Instagram post, tweet or like is worth your safety!
