To accommodate the surge in demand during Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is introducing four additional ETS train services from 28th March to 6th April.

Two extra trips will be available on the KL Sentral–Padang Besar route, while another two will serve the KL Sentral–Butterworth route.

The KL Sentral–Padang Besar service will make stops at Sungai Buloh, Tanjung Malim, Ipoh, Taiping, and Sungai Petani before reaching its final destination.

• Train EP9283 will depart from Padang Besar at 11:05 AM, arriving at KL Sentral at 4:30 PM.

• Train EP9286 will leave KL Sentral at 5:00 PM, reaching Padang Besar at 10:20 PM.

Meanwhile, the KL Sentral–Butterworth service will stop at Sungai Buloh, Tanjung Malim, Ipoh, Taiping, and Bukit Mertajam.

• Train EP9186 will depart from KL Sentral at 4:45 PM and arrive in Butterworth at 8:50 PM.

• For the return journey, train EP9185 will leave Butterworth at 11:20 AM and reach KL Sentral at 3:25 PM.

Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets now via the KTMB website, mobile app, or at the nearest KTMB station kiosk.
