Belgium Consider Themselves Underdogs Against Spain

Belgium coach Rudi Garcia says the pressure is off his side, ahead of their quarterfinal clash against Spain at the football festival in North America.

He says almost everyone expects the Spaniards to go through, leaving the Belgians as the underdogs.

Garcia, however, believes his side are good enough to pull off an upset, while also pointing out that Belgium are currently the tournament’s third-highest scorers, behind only France and Argentina.

England defender Marc Guehi is doubtful for Sunday’s quarterfinal tie against Norway due to a hamstring problem.

Declan Rice has also missed two straight days of training due to illness.

On top of that, the Three Lions have learned that Jarrel Quansah will be banned for two matches for his red card against Mexico…meaning he will only be available if England make the final.

In other news…

Reports say Tottenham have made an offer for PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani…although Juventus are also believed to be interested in the 27-year-old.

Separately, Juve are continuing to push ahead with efforts to sign Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, although his club Aston Villa are reluctant to sell.
