Malaysia recently lifted its interstate and international travel restrictions for those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as the country achieved the target of vaccinating 90% of its adult population.

Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government has agreed to allow fully vaccinated Malaysians to travel overseas starting Monday (October 11th).
As of now, there are more than 40 countries that have opened their borders to international tourists…
So, here are some of the countries that will be accepting fully-vaccinated Malaysians, if you’re thinking about travelling abroad!

However, Malaysians returning home from their holiday are required to undergo mandatory quarantine just to make sure that they are free from COVID-19!
So, stay safe and remember to always wear a face mask, maintain physical distance and wash your hands regularly!

Meanwhile, the Malaysian government is also preparing to shift the country into an endemic COVID-19 phase where it will not impose wide lockdowns again if cases rise.
As of Saturday, 65% of the country’s population, including teenagers aged between 12 to 17 have been fully vaccinated as of Saturday (October 9th)!
