The Conditional Movement Control Order in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor will not end tomorrow (October 27th) as initially planned.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the order will be extended until November 9th.
This is because many affected areas are still declared as high risk COVID-19 areas.
On another note, Datuk Seri Ismail says a CMCO is set to be enforced in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan following a rise in COVID-19 cases.
It will come into effect from this Wednesday until November 10th.
Meanwhile, seven more people have died due to COVID-19, raising our death toll to 236.
Malaysia continues to report a surge in new cases, after 1,240 more infections were recorded today.
