Sabah will no longer be placed under the Recovery Movement Control Order.  

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says a Conditional MCO will be enforced instead due to a rise in COVID-19 cases there.

Meanwhile, KL, Selangor, Johor, Penang, and Sarawak will remain under the CMCO, while Kelantan will still be under an MCO.  

Datuk Seri Ismail adds that the RMCO will continue to be enforced in the remaining states and territories, namely, Perak, Pahang, Terengganu, Melaka, Perlis, Putrajaya, Labuan, Kedah and Negeri Sembilan.  

The orders will take effect this Thursday  (April 29^th) until May 17^th, except for Sarawak which starts today (April 27^th) until May 17^th.  

Also, Datuk Seri Ismail says interstate travel is still banned, while inter-district travel is permitted.  

This, as Malaysia reported 2,733 new COVID-19 cases today.

Selangor had the most cases (750), followed by Kelantan (484), and Sarawak (432).  

The Health Ministry also reported 13 fatalities, raising the death toll to 1,462.
