Three members of a family have died after they were trapped in a fire that broke out at a two-storey terrace house in Taman Titiwangsa, Kluang, late Wednesday night.

The victims have been identified as 49-year-old Noraini Ibrahim and her two sons, 18-year-old Khairul Nurhaziqq Khairul Nizam and 11-year-old Khairul Nurhadiff Khairul Nizam.
The Kluang Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at about 10.44pm and arrived at the scene roughly five minutes later.
Firefighters found the house heavily engulfed in flames with around 50 per cent of the structure destroyed.
Three victims were later found trapped inside a room on the upper floor of the house.
Medical officers from the Ministry of Health pronounced all three dead at the scene.
The bodies were handed over to the police and taken to Hospital Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom in Kluang for further action.
The cause of the fire and the estimated losses are still being investigated.
