A solemnization ceremony is always known to be a tear-jerker for most, but this couple’s beautiful ceremony just hit us all in the feels.
A video posted by Twitter user, Erin Kahar showed a hearing-impaired couple, Faiz and Fara, during their solemnization ceremony. The video has since gone viral, with over 20K retweets. We’re guessing that many may not have witnessed first-hand how hearing-impaired couples perform their solemnization ceremony and were in awe at how pure and beautiful it was.

The video started with the wali or guardian reciting the akad (a promise or agreement made during a Muslim solemnization ceremony) to certify the marriage. During the recitation, Faiz looked to the side at his translator, who was translating word by word what the wali was saying. Faiz nodded and accepted the akad by replying to the wali using sign language. As soon as the wali and all witnesses confirmed that Faiz will be accepting his partner Fara as his lawfully wedded wife, the whole crowd cheered, celebrating the newlyweds.
The ceremony was so beautiful and moving, that many went on Twitter to congratulate the happy couple and expressed just how touched they were after watching the video.

Semoga berbahagia ke anak cucu and jannah. 💕
What’s sweeter, is that based on another Twitter user, Safiya Arissa, the couple had met back during their schooling days and that their translator during the solemnization ceremony was none other than their school teacher.
so the bride and groom are both mute, known each other since schooling days and the translator was their teacher ?! bye this is so beautiful 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️ https://t.co/T01krIHw2G
