T.O.P., who is the main rapper of the popular South Korean boyband BIGBANG is allegedly getting ready to go to space in 2023.

According to a Korean media outlet, the K-pop star will travel into space with Japanese billionaire and entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa as part of the #DearMoon project, which will send eight people on the first-ever civilian mission to the moon, and is also being coordinated by Elon Musk, who is the richest man in the world.
The #DearMoon project, which was first introduced in 2018 is said to select its participants based on their talents and influence which could benefit humanity.
In one particular post, the billionaire tweeted: “TOP, I love you to the moon and back” which made fans speculate that the BIGBANG member would be joining the businessman on his journey to the moon.

Maezawa also posted a photo of T.O.P. together with actor Lee Byung Hun on his social media platform, giving the public additional “proof” that the two stars may be the participants in his upcoming project.
The Japanese businessman also posted a tweet on Tuesday (6 December) saying that there will be a “big announcement” soon regarding his “space project.”
