There are creative people, and there are REALLY creative people!
Twitter user, Zulfo Mahdi, shared a little DIY project his wife did, and it looks exactly like something out of an antique furniture catalog that would probably be way too overpriced.
Beli this side table at Kaison. Bawak balik and assemble, nampak dull & boring pulak. So wife decided to elevate the look. Jumpa syiling 1 sen lama in a closet then came out with the idea to do this diy craft project.

Zulfo bought a small table and after assembling it, found it to be a little bit dull. His wife, Eylin, however, saw this as an opportunity to be a little creative. She collected a bunch of old 1 sen coins and pasted them on the surface of the table, and the result was breathtaking!

The normal everyday table turned into a mesmerizing antique-looking one with the coins arranged in perfect circles all over the surface. Luckily they didn’t give all their old shillings to those annoying money collectors!
Luckily stok syiling lama 1 sen banyak, enough to cover permukaan meja ni. Plus buat tak layan for every comment section dekat IG yg tanya kalau ada old coins to sell 😂 pic.twitter.com/hPncpZfLL4

Eylin even decorated the stems of the table by gluing brown yarn ropes to make the table look more rustic.
Kaki meja pun nampak boring, so beli tali yg nampak rustic ni dekat Romantika kasi gulung2 untuk lebih stylish. pic.twitter.com/Azq56n4LG2

… and this is not Eylin’s only project! Eylin has turned many plain IKEA furniture into signature art pieces, from holographic mirror frames using old CDs to beautiful “hantaran” gifts for her sister’s wedding.
Look at the result, terus jadi stylish. Berbaloi sakit2 tangan potong CD lama tu 😂 pic.twitter.com/cG8ScEdbtJ

And back in 2014, cermin Malma Ikea ni dibeli untuk dijadikan tapak ugubahan hantaran kawin adik. Gubahan hantaran ni pun buat sendiri. Lepas tu baru amik tampal kt dinding. After few years baru decide untuk modified jadi macam skrg tu 😂 pic.twitter.com/g3ZIVpNdJG

We completely stan Eylin for being so creative and reusing her old items. Maybe we should try looking around our house for a DIY project too!
