Bukit Aman says you should prioritise your safety amid the ongoing rainy season, as fast water flows could be dangerous.
This, following several viral videos showing motorcyclists trying to brave roads under fast-flowing floodwaters and experiencing mishaps.

In another incident, a man in Johor, who heroically tried to help his wife to get out of their car, is feared drowned as strong water currents took hold of their vehicle on a flooded road.
Major roads in several states have been closed due to flooding and continuous heavy rain which has caused landslides, leaving many people stranded and disrupting travel plans.

So far, more than 15,000 people have been evacuated to relief centers in Johor, Pahang, Selangor, Perak and Kelantan.
