If you’re not on TikTok, then what have you been doing during this MCO? Now that everyone is stuck in their own homes, people are spending more and more time on TikTok.

Not only that you can make silly, creative and wholesome MCO content - it is also a way for people to spend more time with their families at home, or connect with friends who they haven’t physically seen in awhile.
One of the most recent TikTok challenges (and a favourite of ours) is the #DontRushChallenge. All you need is a makeup brush, some friends, and of course, your TikTok account.
The challenge requires each person in the compilation to shoot their own parts separately, and for one person to combine all the videos at the end.
As part of the challenge, you’re supposed to start off a video in your home attire, either in a bathrobe, a pyjama or even your baju kelawar - it’s totally up to you! Then you’re supposed to pick up a makeup brush and cover your camera, then pull the makeup brush away revealing your transformation.
Many Malaysians have attempted the challenge and we are loving the outcome! Here’s one that went viral, featuring some of our local dentists.

We feel that during this unique MCO time, the least we can do is to spread some good vibe! pic.twitter.com/ykMkNncFh9
Dr. Ibrahim Shah shared the TikTok video on his Twitter account and has since gained over 202 thousand views.

Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna, also made her own version of the #DontRushChallenge with her tour mates that she posted on her Instagram account.
“It’s only right that these amazingly talented ladies from my all-female band and I accept this challenge lol. I miss them so much - the Yuna Rouge Tour was one of the best experiences in my life” she captioned the video.
A group of actresses and influencers, posted on Malaysian-actress Nora Danish’s Instagram, also jumped on the bandwagon.
Sometimes, getting all dressed up (even with nowhere to go) is what you need to get through the rest of this MCO.
So, what about you? Have you and your friends tried doing the challenge?
