The artists behind the viral mural at Section U12, Shah Alam, were able to meet one of their heroes in person, who also happens to be our Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah last Friday (10 July).
According to BERNAMA, His Majesty was accompanied by the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and their children, Tengku Puteri Iman Afzan, Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri’ayatuddin Shah and Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafizatullah.
They arrived at the location at around 3pm and were greeted by the painters of the beautiful mural, Muhammad Suhaimi Ali, Hadi Ramli, and Muhammad Firdaus Nordin.
The YDPA spent his visit taking pictures, talking, and exchanging gifts with the painters to express his appreciation and also enjoyed a meal with them before returning home.
“I am touched! YDPA came all the way to U12 just to take a picture with the mural I painted. Truly selfless!” Suhaimi said in a tweet.
Alhamdulillah ,menjunjung kasih tuanku!!🙏

Not only that, but the Health Director-General, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah also took the time to take a photo with the mural on Saturday (11 July), and shared it on his social media.
I was there this morning & I felt the strong patriotic spirit among Malaysians. I would like to express my deep appreciation to all the brilliant talented artists with their extraordinary skills & artworks. It goes to show that everyone has a role in this pandemic crisis pic.twitter.com/DpHEhX2K9K

Sadly, Suhaimi did not get to meet the Health DG even though he rushed to the site 15 minutes after the photo was uploaded, only to find that Dr. Noor Hisham had already left.
