In case you don’t already know, there was much chaos in the US this morning (January 7th), after supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol Building in Washington and clashed with police, leading to the death of one woman.

The violence brought to a debate over Democrat Joe Biden's election win, as Trump’s Republican party continued to challenge the certification of November's election results.
Trump has repeatedly falsely claimed that the election had been stolen and still insists he won.
Malaysians, of course, being the kepohs that we are, had to give our two cents on the incident although no one asked for it, but one particular Twitter user is getting slammed for her remark, which had nothing to do with what was going on.

Local TV personality, Janna Nick, compared what unfolded today with The Purge movie franchise, and stressed why film restrictions and guidelines are needed, just as how Malaysia imposes them.

If you don’t know, The Purge movie franchise centers around a dystopian future in the US, during which the country celebrates an annual national holiday known as the Purge - a day when all crime, including murder, becomes legal for a 12-hour period.
