Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the initiative is meant to lighten the load for families who are trying to rebuild their lives while sorting out their official paperwork.
He reminded flood victims to always put their own safety first. Agencies under the Home Affairs Ministry, he added, will continue helping Malaysians manage the process of replacing these essential documents during the ongoing severe weather.
To make things even easier, JPN will also send mobile service vehicles into affected areas once roads are safe to enter, ensuring people can get assistance without having to travel far.
