Falling in love is undeniably one of the sweetest moments in our lives. Especially when we've been with our partner for a long time, sharing countless memories together.
However, it's crucial to be mindful of how much we spend on our partners, particularly if we're not yet married.

Overspending can lead to regret later on, so it's wise to spend within our means…
This brings us to the story of a man who shared his financial woes online, revealing that he spends thousands of ringgit just to satisfy his girlfriend's appetite.
On social media platform X, a man confessed that he spends RM2,500 monthly solely on eating out with his girlfriend. By the end of the month, he's left struggling with only RM150 in his account.
He noted that when he was single, his expenses were much lower because he only ate out occasionally.

"Food expenses every month are RM2.5K, and by the end of the month, I only have RM150 left. Having a girlfriend who loves to eat drains my money quickly. When I was single, I only ate out once a day," he lamented.
In response, some advised him to be more frugal and to live within his means. Others pointed out that his spending is excessive, especially since the woman is not yet his wife.
