A young boy, Muhammad, has been living with his grandmother after his mother was imprisoned, while his father is nowhere to be found.
Muar MP, Syed Saddiq took to his Twitter to share Muhammad’s story with Malaysians, and how they have helped him with their generous donations.
Adik Muhammad. Tinggal bersama nenek. Ibu di penjara kerana kes dadah. Ayahnya tidak dapat dikesan.

Minggu lepas saya buat crowdfunding. Lebih RM22 ribu terkumpul! Ini cara saya bantu:
- RM10 ribu tabung SSPN
- RM2 ribu belanja makan minum
- RM10 ribu pendidikan harian pic.twitter.com/bY669EWGpY
“Through crowdfunding, we have collected RM22,000, and this is how the money has helped Adik Muhammad! I have deposited RM10,000 into his SSPN account, RM2,000 for his daily necessities and RM10,000 for his school needs,” he said.
He said that it was the best way to help Muhammad as he is too young to be handling cash.
Syed Saddiq also said that Muhammad will be placed in a boarding school where his needs will be cared for and it’s what his grandmother wants, as well.
Selagi boleh usaha, saya usaha. Rakyat Malaysia banyak sangat bantu.
