Twitter user, @amymedusaa shared on his profile, the usage of hand sanitizer for their renjis ceremony, replacing the traditional rose water.
The ceremony has adopted this prevention tactic to ensure that all of their guests who attended their ceremony are safe from contracting any kind of viruses.
Merenjis usually involves the parents of the bride and groom, and some of their closest family and friends sprinkling rose water and bunga rampai as a sign of blessings to the couple.
The couple opted to hand sanitizers instead of using water and handshaking, which is a good preventative effort!
