The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has been described as the kind and caring monarch on social media due to his humility towards his people.

As a child growing up I’ve always heard the phrase “raja berjiwa rakyat”. With our current agong I finally get to experience how it feels like to live thru it. #DaulatTuanku #Malaysia2020 https://t.co/CDeDFlDUBQ

Mulia sungguh hati Tuanku Agong. Semalam minta PA hantar makanan kat wartawan di luar pintu Istana Negara. Hari ni, minta orang setup kan khemah pula. Tuanku Agong & Permaisuri berjiwa rakyat ❤❤😘

The King has been winning hearts through his kind actions in the past of stopping to help accident victims and queuing at a fast-food restaurant to buy food for himself.

Now with the current political situation, he’s quick to show his kindness yet again!
First, the king treats the reporters waiting outside Istana Negara with KFC for dinner (February 24) and McDonald’s the next day. Not only that - he even took the time to distribute the food himself and spent a few minutes talking to them, while munching on some fries.
Terbaiklah YDP Agong kita. Sangat prihatin dan berjiwa rakyat.

He also brought out 40 plush chairs from inside the palace and brought them out to the reporters for them to sit on, so they wouldn’t have to stand while waiting outside Istana Negara’s gate.

If that wasn’t enough, the king also called over a Milo truck to serve the reporters with cold drinks and even catered ikan patin tempoyak for lunch.

The King invited reporters into Istana Negara for a briefing, and even bent the rules and allowed them into the building without a dress code requirement, as reported by Malay Mail.

What can we expect from our beloved Agong next is anyone’s guess. But we can only expect it’ll break the internet...as usual.
