Since the movement control order (MCO) was implemented on March 18th, many Malaysians have been stuck overseas and it’s mostly because most of them are studying or working abroad, or were on holiday before the MCO kicked in.
Due to that, those who have pets at home were forced to leave them alone for an extended period of time.

It’s so sad!
Though the travel ban is necessary to curb the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, it has been very difficult for most of us.
A concerned neighbour, also known as Ram, went the extra mile to feed his neighbour’s hungry dogs.

A viral video on Twitter shared by @anthraxxxx, showed Ram climbing over his neighbour’s gate to get to the other side so that he could feed them. “The owner is stuck overseas because of COVID-19 so they have not eaten for a very long time.”

In the video, the dogs can be seen barely able to walk and had become very skinny. Though it was scared at first when Ram climbed over, the dogs quickly warmed up to him as they saw him bringing over food. Ram even helped to fill up their water bowl.
We can’t imagine being this far away from our pets for a long period of time, let alone knowing that they’re alone and hungry!
Thank you, Ram, for your kindness! Check up on your neighbours if you can, just in case they left their pets behind, too! Stay at home and stay healthy, guys!
