A total of 59.1% or 13,842,928 of the adult population have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as of Wednesday (August 25th).

The COVID-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV) said 80.3% or 18,792,979 individuals have also received their first dose.
According to FMT, 57.5% and 42.4% of the country’s population have received one dose and two doses of the vaccine respectively.

A total of 423,380 doses were administered on Wednesday, consisting of 161,386 first doses and 261,994 second doses, which brings the cumulative number of vaccinations administered through the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 32,635,907 doses.

Labuan continued to record the highest vaccination rate with 92.8% of its adult population having completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, followed by the Klang Valley with 86.9%, Sarawak (85.9%) and Negeri Sembilan (74.5%).
