A total of 45.9% or over 10.73 million individuals of the adult population in the country have completed their vaccination as of Sunday (August 15th).
Meanwhile, almost 73% of the adult population in the country have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

According to data shared by the COVID-19 Vaccine Supply Access Assurance Special Committee (JKJAV), a total of 415,875 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered on August 15th.

Selangor continued to record the second highest to administer COVID-19 vaccine doses in one day with 71,724 doses.
This, followed by the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (42,165), Johor (34,759), Sabah (23,351), Penang (14,400) and Perak (13,674).

This brings the cumulative number of vaccinations nationwide to over 27.81 million.
Out of the total population, 17.07 million individuals had already received their first dose of the vaccine, while 10.73 million had already completed their vaccination.
