Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results are out! It’s time to celebrate! Especially now that more students have scored straight As in their SPM 2019 examinations than the year before!

Out of the 389,498 students who sat for the examinations, 8,876 candidates scored A+, A, and A- in all subjects, while the number of candidates earning at least a grade C in all subjects also increased by 0.79%.
According to Education Director-General, Dr. Habibah Abdul Rahim, this year’s SPM result is definitely something to be proud of.

“This is an improvement of 0.13%,” she said at a press conference after announcing the SPM 2019 result analysis today.
With 8,436 candidates scoring straight As in 2018, the National Average Grade (GPN) improved with a score of 4.86 compared to 4.89 in SPM 2018.
Astro Radio News reports that the English subject showed the highest performance improvement of 0.17%. while the Science subject was the subject with the highest performance decline of 0.14%.
