Malaysia's daily COVID-19 cases hit a new high today.

The Health Director General says 6,806 infections were reported nationwide, compared to yesterday's record of 6,075.
2,277 cases were reported in Selangor, while KL, Johor and Sarawak all registered over 600 infections.
The daily death toll also reached a new high of 59, raising the total number of fatalities to 2,099.

In light of this, the de facto Law Minister says a special meeting will be held tomorrow to discuss the possibility of implementing a full MCO.
The PM will chair the meeting, which will also be attended by state Menteris Besar and Chief Ministers.
