He wrote about how he sees this view every year and that there is not one ounce of responsibility in keeping the environment clean.
The Deputy Minister expressed his concern about how people are teaching their children to litter and that keeping the environment clean starts with ourselves, our parents’ teachings, and our homes. He emphasized that it is our collective responsibility to ensure that public amenities can be used by those after us.
The photos posted by the Deputy Minister showed litter scattered along the roadside, with trash bags, food packaging, and other items lying around. This sight is not only unappealing but also poses a danger to the environment and wildlife.

Despite his disappointment, the Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude towards the Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Lipis team for keeping the place clean.
Many netizens have responded positively to the Deputy Minister's message. One netizen pointed out that the excuse of "no trash cans at the RNR" is not valid and urged people to keep their trash inside their vehicles until they can dispose of it properly.
Another netizen shared their frustration over the "there's a cleaner so let's leave it to them" mentality and highlighted that this issue is not limited to East Coast highway users only…
Apa-apa pun terima kasih team Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Lipis lakukan kerja pembersihan di laluan Kechau Tui ni.. insyaAllah besar ganjaran pahala.. Lebih dari itu, setiap kebaikan yang kita lakukan walau sekecil-kecil perkara akan mendapat ganjaran di sisi Allah. InsyaAllah.

It is essential to understand that littering not only harms the environment but also affects the quality of life for everyone.
Therefore, it is our collective responsibility to keep our surroundings clean and tidy. We should all strive to follow the Deputy Minister's advice to keep our homes and public areas clean, teach our children the importance of cleanliness, and dispose of waste responsibly.
By doing so, we can create a better and cleaner environment for ourselves and future generations.
