Recently, there’s been more and more innovative approaches and inventions to help combat the COVID-19 infection, including the disinfection box, chamber, tunnel, booth, and more.

For the time being, there is no evidence to prove that the use of the disinfection box is effective in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
In a tweet shared by the Ministry of Health’s Director-General Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, he said the duration of between 20 and 30 seconds would not be enough to disinfect effectively.

Hasil penilaian Cawangan Penilaian Teknologi Kesihatan KKM mendapati:

The process also does not get rid of the virus within the body, and the chemicals might harm our membrane mucosa in the eyes and mouth.

The use of any disinfection box, chamber, tunnel, booth, partition or gate is currently not recommended by the Ministry of Health as part of the efforts to curb COVID-19.
