Since 10 June, Malaysians returning from abroad are no longer required to undergo the 14-day quarantine at designated isolation centers, but can serve the quarantine period at their homes instead.
But of course, there are a few irresponsible individuals who continue to take this lightly.

A photo of a makcik whose face was covered up by an emoji and wearing the Health Ministry’s Person Under Surveillance (PUS) wristband went viral recently.
In the photo, the makcik was seen enjoying a meal at a restaurant, while wearing the PUS wristband.
According to the New Straits Times, those who are issued the pink wristbands can’t remove them and are under strict home quarantine orders where they CANNOT be out in public for 14-days.
The individual, identified as a 72-year-old woman, has now been warded at the Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun in Ipoh after her second swab test came back positive, just 13 days upon returning to Malaysia.
Police have now stopped the investigation.
According to Astro Awani, Perak Chief Police, Datuk Razarudin Husain said that the investigation will be continued by the Perak State Health Department (JKN).
“A woman who was enjoying a meal at a cafe, while wearing a COVID-19 wristband clearly triggered the public. The woman is still getting treatment at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital,” he said during a press conference.
So the makcik gelang pink allegedly stopped by for breakfast after being picked up from the airport, before heading home to start her 14 day quarantine.

someone refused to wear masks just because masks cause acne. i personally think that is selfish. almost everyone feels uncomfortable wearing masks, we hv no other choice la. covid-19 cases are increasing and now we hv that makcik gelang pink case.

If you just got back from overseas, please be responsible and just stay at home!
Take care of yourself and the other people around you.
