
Malaysia reported 432 new COVID-19 cases yesterday (October 5th) - the highest daily tally since the start of the pandemic.

The shocking new number surpasses the previous record of 317 new cases in a day, which was recorded just three days ago on October 3rd.
Here’s a breakdown of yesterday’s numbers:
Kedah and Sabah continued to report the most number of new cases, with 231 and 130 cases respectively, followed by Selangor (34), Kuala Lumpur (7) and Terengganu (5).
All states, except Penang and Perlis, also reported new cases yesterday.
