Remember as a kid, how we would spend hours and hours sitting on the floor of a bookstore, devouring every single Enid Blyton book while our parents’ shop…
The well-known bookstore chain in Malaysia, MPH Bookstores appears to be winding down their businesses as more and more people are drawn to reading electronic books or eBooks, and audiobooks.

news on the closing of mph subang parade reminds me of that one time when we were locked in that store without any warning. everyone was confused af. then we saw people running around outside trying to find cover. turns out there was an armed robbery happening in the mall lulz.

Went to MPH Subang Parade just to browse some books that are on sale. Sad to know the bookstore that's been operating for more than 20 years is shutting down soon😢. Ended up buying few books anyway.

A photo taken at MPH MyTown showed that the shelves were almost bare, there were taped up boxes everywhere, and most of the books were heavily discounted by up to 70% to clear up the available stocks.
You can still make a trip to the bookstore while they’re still operating and maybe pick up a book or two, just for old times sake.
