“They will be given the Pfizer vaccine for their booster shot”, says Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
It comes after the World Health Organisation (WHO) approved the “Mix and Match” approach to vaccination to generate stronger immune response.
“The booster doses will be administered voluntarily and for free”, says Khairy.
You will be notified through the MySejahtera app, and if you don’t have the app, you will receive an SMS.
Members of the public have also been assured that they will be improving the MySejahtera appointment system from time to time.
The Health Ministry started giving out booster shots on October 13.
