Over the weekend, Minister of Science Technology and Innovation, Khairy Jamaluddin announced that bookings for the AstraZeneca vaccine can be done on Sunday (May 2nd) at 12pm.

However, all 260,000 available appointments for the AZ vaccine are now fully booked in less than four hours!

Just a few minutes after registration started, the site received overwhelming traffic but it was fixed later on.
In a tweet, Khairy Jamaluddin said: “All AZ slots are fully booked. My apologies for the initial glitch and multiple refreshes.”
He also stated in his tweet that appointments will soon be sent to those registered for the vaccine via the MySejahtera app or through SMS.

For those who still wish to register for the AZ vaccine can still click on the grey boxes on the site and you will be put onto a waiting list.
The AstraZeneca vaccination will begin on Wednesday (May 5th)!
