The spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) has led to many celebrities and festivals scheduled in Malaysia and most Asian countries to be cancelled.

Among those affected include concert tours of the world’s most famous artists, and here are some of the shows or festivals that have been postponed or cancelled following the outbreak.
1. Rockaway Festival 2020
The Rockaway Festival that was scheduled for March 14 and 15 has been postponed to the end of the year.
The festival which was supposed to take place in Bukit Jalil was postponed as a precaution to curb the spread of the outbreak. Among the celebrities that were scheduled to perform includes Masdo, Kyoto Protocol, Loch, Massacre Conspiracy, M. Nasir, The Mash, Toko Kilat and more!

2. BTS Cancels Concert In Seoul
The most-awaited BTS concert that was scheduled in April in Seoul was canceled immediately after the number of Covid-19 cases escalated in South Korea.
According to the organizers, the cancellation was appropriate for the safety of the BTS members, as well as their fans who were planning on coming and supporting them.

3. SEVENTEEN Concert in KL Cancelled
The famous K-pop band, SEVENTEEN has cancelled a worldwide tour concert in Kuala Lumpur that was scheduled for February 22, following the Covid-19 outbreak. SEVENTEEN concert’s organizer, in a statement posted on their official site, said that they take the health and safety of the artists, crew, and staff members including the fans very seriously.
Tickets that have been purchased will be refunded.

4. Greenday Cancels Asia Tour
American rock band Greenday have also canceled their concert tour in Asia following the outbreak of Covid-19. Among the Asian countries affected by the cancellation includes Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan.
However, Greenday will still continue their concert tour in Europe with the exception of Moscow this May.
