According to Health Director-General, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah during his daily press conference, Malaysia will soon see new COVID-19 cases in single-digits.
He explained that Malaysia is on track, though there are still two locations that are currently under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
“If we look at two weeks ago, the number of new cases has not increased. Though it is not decreasing as fast as we would want it, but we’re doing okay.”

“As long as we’re below 50 cases, I’m happy,”. He further assured the public, “that as long as there are roughly 20 cases a day, the public health system can still take action and prevent any further spread of the infection.”
We’re almost there, Malaysians! Stay at home, and keep practicing social distancing because every little effort could make a huge difference!
